Indus Valleys Civilization: As it Progressed

The world has seen more civilization coming up; each existed, developed and imprinted their foot mark on the mother earth.As known a palpable is the antidote for civilization. It can make a civilization to prove its strength. Indus Valley civilization is one of the most important civilizations in the world.

Indus Valley Civilization is the home to the largest of the four ancient urban civilizations of Egypt, Mesopotamia, South Asia and China. Most of its ruins, even its major cities, remain to be excavated. The ancient Indus Civilization script has not been deciphered yet. Harappa was a city in the Indus civilization that flourished around 2600 to 1700 BCE in the western part of South Asia.

The Harappa’s used the same size bricks and standardized weights as were used in other Indus cities such as Mohenjo-Daro and Dholavira. These cities had wide streets. It also had public and private well, drains, bathing platform and reservoirs. Their drain system was considered to be one of the well planned drain system.

There were other highly developed cultures in adjacent regions of Baluchistan, Central Asia and peninsular India which were also popular. Altogether Indus Valley Civilization is one of the best civilization which has existed.
